You will practice on land before you head into the water. In the water your Surf Instructor will help you with specific tips and teach you how to catch waves. It is the best experience to share with your kids! During the private family surf lesson, one of our instructors will be fully available to ensure the fun and safety of kids and parents! The private family surf lesson starts from 3 participants. Depending on the children’s age, an assistant will get into the water to help during the lesson! The minimum age for kids to join the private family surf lesson is 7 years old. Younger kids can join the lesson but will need a private instructor just for them! Depending on the number of kids joining the lesson and the surfing forecasts for the day, we will suggest if an additional instructor is needed to ensure the safety of the family.

This activity is recommended for people of all ages from 13 years old where they will experience sliding in the waves of Playa de Las Americas where you will live an unforgettable experience. The activity lasts 2 hours and includes all the necessary equipment such as a surfboard, neoprene, booties and lycra where it will begin with a 20-minute theory where we will explain the basics of surfing, techniques to be able to enjoy our first waves. The beach where we will surf is made of volcanic rock where the waves are perfect for beginners and advanced surfers. Inside the sea you will always be guided by an experienced instructor and you must follow his instructions. At the end of the class you will stretch to prevent any injury and discuss how the experience has been.
